In attempt to not over do it the day before the infamous 12 Days Of Christmas, tomorrow will be just a lil breather of a workout… not too long, not too short, but juuuuuuust right. Like Goldilocks and the three bears I hope tomorrow’s workout will be a good conditioning piece for those wanting to come in as often as possible this holiday-of-holidays week. The Spilt Jerk is the only really heavy modality for tomorrow. After looking at this one, the more I come to like it. The heavy implement with this particular movement is not something we often do, so, I feel it’ll be a good change up and a great challenge. Remember, the technical demands of the Split Jerks, in my opinion, ranks among the highly respected Snatch movement as it requires so many of the similar points of performances. Timing, speed, FOOT WORK, coordination, agility, balance, strength, and stability just to name a few. It’s one of my favorite movements because of it, especially when executed correctly.
