So in honor of the Desert Games some of your fellow CFLOTW Fam will be participating in this weekend… I thought it would be an acceptable change to our first Friday of the Month to sub out our “From The Hat” day and throw in a workout we will be doing this weekend for the competition! Now, I tried to keep it as close as possible and if you’d like to do the version identical to the Desert Games Event, I can definitely make that happen for ya! But, I did make some alterations to the workouts…… annnnnnnd I also thought it’d be cool for YOU to choose from the tests we will be doing for your Friday workout! Choose wisely 😉 On top of the workout since we are already straying from our normal first Friday of the Month, might as well go all out. We have a strength piece this weekend that some of the athletes will be doing a complex with Cleans and others with Snatches…. and since we didn’t really do either this week (heavy that is) then I will leave that up to you to decide. Just work your form, trust and lean on good technique, and challenge yourself with the lift to go heavy with always prioritizing you and the barbell are sound when it comes to the points of performances.
