Recently our week has had some predictability with a general blueprint of starting with squats on Monday, Accessory on Tuesday’s and yada yada yada. Not everyone can make it in on Tuesday for the Accessory stuff. The Accessory is like a supplement to the “Meat and Potatoes” of everything else that we do… but, like our veggies, they are very important to get in. So, not every week, but I wanted to start this week with some typical Accessory work and push our Squats to Wednesday.
This past week Sophia performed admirably and quite fantastic over a very brutal few days! Great job! I am very proud of you. They were extremely challenging workouts and were not easy and you gave a heck of an effort! After the Open, and now these Quarterfinals, I tend to get a little motivated again 😉 Some of you may remember these old “Road To The Games” little documentary videos. I use to watch what all the athletes were doing and their workouts… I still do that, but I find myself now looking at their facility… the equipment, the entrance, colors, the layout. I love these old videos. I like the energy these athletes have, and as a “fan boy” of the sport, I love how it illustrates the passion these athletes have towards bettering themselves and at the same time are celebrities of our sport; CrossFit has these big names but we still get to see how they are human beings just like you and me.
