#CFLOTW

The focus of this blog post is written below… this is for funzies. I posted of the insta these pics and just wanted to share here as well. I was beyond pleased with how these silicon bands came out. Now the question is how to get one on Dizzy?? These will be 3 bucks (card transactions will be plus tax) or you can get one in a thermos or blender bottle as a surprise that we now have for a limited time! Let me know what you guys think about these and I will try to stay stocked with them.  They all have the exclusive logo sticker on them so you can show off how HAM you went on your workout when drinking that post recovery drink or before with that preworkout.  The prices are kinda random so I will have a price sheet on the cubbies that’ll show them.  I was informed to make hashtags with #CFLOTW it’s what all the kids are doing these days…. so, if you take a pic, make sure to use the hashtag and then we’ll be famous… I think that’s how it works.

This workout was the first workout I did at my very first CrossFit competition. Before the Open they had what was called Sectionals, where within your regional you had to travel to compete to go through the process similar to how the Open is now structured. Ours was in Tulsa, OK. I remember there being the first other CrossFitters I had ever seen! I saw my first rower, real CF beast that were like superheroes to me, and even the first time in real life seeing someone do double unders… It was a girl just warming up before her heat! I was in awe! This weight was close to my 1 Rep Max back then, so I was worried about how the rower was going to effect me on the barebell. The time cap was 15 Minutes… I did not complete this workout in the time cap, but sure as heck gave it my all. I was on my 4th or 5th cluster on the third round when the time cap hit. You’re dear ‘ol coach use to not be very good at CrossFit, but I had a passion for it. I wrote on yesterday’s blog a quote, “A steady drip wears away stone.” A constant pursuit of a dream, a goal, a reward worth every sacrifice. It’s taken me 10 years to get where I am now. But, what I think about isn’t the destination… “Arriving!” I think about the journey. I think about all the memories that came with the goal set forth. The people I’ve met, the things, I’ve learned, the set backs and the moments I’ve sat on mountains with my face towards the sun. Dizzy once told me, The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in settling our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” Thanks Dizz, I think I am beginning to understand that. Shoot for the moon, because even if you miss you’ll land amongst the stars.

Conditioning
Time Cap 15 Minutes
3 Rounds For time of:
500m Row
10 Clusters @135/95
10 Pull-Ups

All of you guys will finish this… This is to show you how farther along you are than I was in my early years. I look around and see so much talent, and gainz, and progress I don’t think most of us realize the significance of it. It is significant.
