Tuesday’s Benchmark Workout

Today’s benchmark workout is a hero workout. I do this workout every now and then when I can only get in one workout, and I need it to be a good one. The Sevens. I thought no one knew the actual heroes who this workout is made and named for because they couldn’t be released, but as I was looking up the workout, I came across the names of the seven who were killed. It really makes it more real and puts a sentimental touch of the intention of the workout when you read the names. Hero Workouts are made and named for heroes that have died in the line of duty… and we honor them by dedicating and giving a workout to them. They have seven stars at the CIA memorial for these individuals as they were CIA that were killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. Give this one everything you got! It’s one of my favorite hero workouts.

7 Knees-to-Elbows
7 Deadlifts (245/165)
7 Burpees
7 Kettlebell Swings (2/1.5 pood)
