Friday Funday!

An oldie and a goodie!  Tomorrow’s workout will be a repeat of an old Open workout from 2013.  Some of you may remember this one.  It was was of my most memorable Open announcements where Dave Castro had Rich Froning and Dan Bailey demo the live announcement.  The good ‘ol days that unfortunately we will never see again.  I did modify the weights for the women to make the loads current and up to date with prescribed Rx’d relative to the male.  Back then, Snatching wasn’t a movement we as a collective CrossFit community could do very well.  Most of us will have to modify this anyways, but we will use this as a template and hit a good Friday Funday workout!  We’ll discuss in class.  I am deeply saddened to see the “Go-Froward Plan” direction CrossFit HQ, or really Eric Roza, is taking with the leadership in the sport of fitness side of CrossFit.  I haven’t seen or heard of any talk on the front of the health and wellness side of healthcare that CrossFit once fiercely fought for and died for.  I am sure we haven’t seen the last of Dave and his crazy workouts!  See you all tomorrow!

**Correction**
I thought Open 13.1 was the workout Rich and Dan went head to head in this cool video, but it was actually 12.2…. dummy!  We’ll still do 13.1 but enjoy the very similar workout demo’d on this video.  It took me a bit to find and figure that out lol.  Enjoy!
