LEGENDS In The Bataan

It’s extremely fun coaching elite athletes.  Attempting to find the limits of someone (If there are any) and exposing the shear strength of determination, and willingness, that leads to triumphant efforts is remarkable to witness.  It intrigues me to see what the human body, the human mind is capable of.  I use to want to go to medical school to be a neurologist… the brain is truly amazing and so mysterious all in one.  That obviously didn’t work out, but observing what textbooks and research says and witnessing the fault in them, continues to support that we have much to learn.  They leave one big component out.  The heart of a person, the will of one’s determination, the effort put out straight from one’s soul!  You can’t measure that.  Well I think you can, but it’s difficult.  We had so many people run the Bataan that I just have to tip my hat to.  I didn’t do it.  Honestly it scares me.  I understand the training behind it and the struggle that awaited each of them at every mile.  Annnd most of our LEGENDS did it weighted!  What!!  You guys are truly impressive and truly are admired.  Here are some picture I got sent to me by some of you guys…. if I left anyone out send me the pics and I will be sure to throw them in here!  Congratulations and very impressive.  I am very proud of each of you.  “Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.”
