It’s Like Life

Tomorrow’s workout continues our continued intentional work with being, “Unbroken.”  Fighting the urge to put the bar down, and in this case, the DB’s and KB’s.  Attaining the capacity to complete sets greater than 5 reps has been one of my many Achilles Heels.  To build that ability it must be purposefully trained with the desired stimulus as the goal result.  You must acknowledge the greatness in yourself in the midst of your obstacles, and accept the challenge as the opportunity to become greater from it.  Welcome it… embrace it… and declare to it that you will do your worst to it as it will surely do its own.  Choosing when to pick the bar back up with confidence that you can obtain your chosen reps to minimize the overall time under tension and finish the workout…. again, in this case, the penalty does that quite nicely.  Do bigger sets, and you are rewarded with less work…. fewer burpees usually tends to make people more happy.  I’ll be there to cheer you on to hang on and be “UNBROKEN.”  As I like to say…. It’s like life.
